The self proclaimed "Baddest Bitch" dropped her 5th album today entitled "Amazin". While the 1st single "Million Dollar Girl" (feat. Keri Hilson & Diddy) made me apprehensive about what this project had in store, after listening to it front to back, I can say that this project is her best "all around" work to date... While her previous LP's  only produced 1 to 2 singles and the rest I couldn't bother listening to, I can honestly say that this album is one that I can pretty much  listen to straight through (the only songs I skipped were Million Dollar Girl and My Bitches) .

Amazin features 15 tracks and a host of features from well established as well as new artists artists including P.Diddy, Kalenna (from Dirty Money), Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Flo-Rida,  Lyfe Jennings, 2 appearances from Monica and others (Shonie and Git Fresh <-- never heard of him until now)  When an artist has features on almost every track, I sometimes question whether or not they have the ability to push their project on their own and if they rely on others to help generate a buzz but I can say that most of her features were done tastefully and I enjoyed them.

From a listener's perspective, I saw a tremendous amount of growth from her last two albums "The Glamorest Life" and "Still the Baddest". I wasn't pleased with these efforts at all but I can see that she's maturing all around, but she still has her signature songs ( My Bitches and Dang-a-Lang)  reminiscent of her first projects.  I was pleased with the beat selection on all the tracks regardless of whether I liked all the song.   A good variety of "club songs" and songs that the ladii's can relate to and I absolutely adore her ode to her boyfriend Kenyon Martin on "Capricorn" and also her collaboration with her ex Lil Wayne to show that they still have a good relationship despite not being together as I quote him "Trina what it do, i ain't seen you in a minute, when I think about my life, I thank God that you was in it" .

Songs I enjoyed the Most:  "On the Hush", "Dang-a- lang" (fydjm lol ) "I Want It All", "By Myself" "Currency", "Capricorn"---- but I like all of them except for 2.

While many question her ability as legitimate female rapper, whether she writes her own bars, and if she relies solely on her sex appeal to sell records, in my opinion, she's one of few female artists who has had any type of longevity in the game since her first debut in 1998.  She's still wears the crown of  "The Baddest Bitch" proudly and I really like this album--- Good Job Trina
